This is a blog about my railroad, the Central Pacific Railway, a 500+sqft double-decked N Scale railroad modeling the area from Mojave to Fresno, California. It is based on the modern era UP and BNSF railroads. I also have a web site at www.CPRXrailway.com you can visit.

Good news on the signal issue
Yesterday while tinkering with the signals that I put the conductive paint on, MOST of them worked. Perhaps the paint just has to thouroughly dry before it will conduct properly. Although, while conducting, it must have some resistance in there as the LED is not as bright as it should be. Back to the testing room!

Hey Frank
ReplyDeleteYes the conductive paint takes about 10-20 minutes on some applications before it "cures".
Doing resistive wheelsets, I have had to go back and do a second application with 10x spot glass and found the first missed the G spot. Sounds promising you can revive them all. :)
